A Fellow of the CIPD, Niamh has held senior international HR and employee communications roles, and has managed the Senior Executive Development Programme for the top 100 executives of global business for a number of years. She has worked in the US, Sweden, the UK and in Ireland and her industry experience extends across a range of sectors, including pharmaceutical, financial, FMCG, utilities, information technology, services and media.
Niamh particularly enjoys working with supervisory-level and newly-appointed managers, both in small groups and one-to-one. With a meditation practice for over 10 years, she is currently researching the influence of mindfulness on the line manager/subordinate relationship.
During her career, she has designed and delivered training on change communications, supervisory communication skills, interview skills for candidates and for interviewers, presentation skills, as well as strategy and change management programmes. She has held faculty positions with DIT and has been a guest lecturer at UL, WIT, the IMI and the Irish Institute of Nutrition and Health. Niamh has chaired and spoken at international conferences on change communications and employee engagement.
She is qualified to administer and evaluate psychometric profiles 15FQ (16PF), NEO Personality Inventory, JTI (Myers-Briggs Type), VbIM (Values Based Indicators of Motivation) and EIQ (Emotional Intelligence).
